Fun activity in Hong Kong: Bubble football (a.k.a Zorb football)

We’ve been a bit more adventurous recently, trying various activities such as night hikes and…bubble football.

The concept of this sport/game is fairly simple: it’s an indoor football game but participants wear a big plastic bubble around their upper body. The bubble makes everything bouncier and generally a lot harder. One will bounce off the walls, other players and kicking the ball becomes quite difficult. Most players spend most of the game bouncing off random people and rolling on the floor, legs in the air, desperately trying to get back up.

Totally exhausting, incredibly fun, just make sure to separate the teams between males and females. We didn’t and it can be a tad frightening to see a group of lad’s bouncing your way a full speed!
