On Saturday we went to the Hong Kong Wet Land Park.
This 61 hectare wetland was transformed into a reserve to serve as a conservation and education facility.
The park puts forward the wetland’s eco-system and how to protect it.
It’s full of wild life and during summer migrating birds are often seen in the area.
We saw quite a few interesting things: mangroves, sun bathing lizards, red crabs, herons, mudskippers, dragonflies…mosquitoes.
No amount of repellent seems to be enough; my legs are covered in mosquitoes bites and I can’t stop scratching (you can imagine my legs look really nice)!
